Fido Home Phone

The Fido Home Phone Service includes basic phone features like voicemail, caller ID, call waiting, call forwarding, and unlimited domestic calls. Fido Home Phone works with a home phone adapter that costs $40 onetime. You can simply plug in the adapter to a power outlet and connect either cordless or corded telephone handset to start using Fido Home Phone service.

So how much does Fido’s Home Phone service cost?

Fido Basic Home Phone Plan starts at $18/month with unlimited Canada-wide calling They also have a $20/month plan for unlimited calling to US and Canada. For non-Fido customers, there is a flat $30/month charge for US & Canada unlimited. However, still, expect a one-time charge of $40 for the modem.

For long distance calls, Fido’s rates are significantly higher than their competitors. Other providers offer 1 cent per minute, a much better deal than Fido’s 5 cents per minute. To better serve its customers who make international calls, Fido has an international call package that gives subscribers an additional 5,000 minutes per month for only $10.
