Apple lists 25 Apps Infected with Malicious Software with their first large-scale attack on its App Store.  Apple has removed the apps from the App Store and are blocking submissions of new apps that contain this malware from entering the App Store.    Users are instructed to update the affected apps right now to fix the issue if it is available on the App Store, as it has already been updated.   Any Apps with an asterisk are currently not available for an update on the App Store, but Apple is working with the developers to get impacted apps back on the App Store as quickly as possible.

Here is a list of the Apple Apps that are affected:

Angry Bird 2 – Yifeng Li’s Favorite*
Baidu Music – A Music Player that has Downloads, Ringtones, Music Videos, Radio, and Karaoke
Battle of Freedom (The MOBA mobile game)
Call Me MT 2 – Multi-server version
CarrotFantasy 2: Daily Battle*
China Unicom Customer Service (Official Version)*
Dark Dawn – Under the Icing City (the first mobile game sponsored by Fan BingBing)*
DiDi Taxi
DuoDuo Ringtone
Encounter – Local Chatting Tool
Flush HD
Foreign Harbor – The Hottest Platform for Oversea Shopping*
Gaode Map – Driving and Public Transportation
Heroes of Order & Chaos – Multiplayer Online Game*
Himalaya FM (Audio Book Community)
I Like Being With You*
Let’s Cook – Receipes
Miraculous Warmth
NetEase Music – An Essential for Radio and Song Download
One Piece – Embark (Officially Authorized)*
